About Good Life Good Death expo

The Good Life Good Death Expo is an initiative of Queensland Compassionate Communities (QCC) the community arm of Palliative Care Queensland (PCQ) QCC aims to build networks around people experiencing loss, ageing, disability, dying and grief throughout Queensland. These networks are both community and health networks.The aim of this expo is to normalise dying, reduce peoples fears and ensure that no-one ever feels like a burden to others.

Previous expos

The Good Life Good Death expos (GLGD) have been delivering information and support to those in need for over 4 years. Originating in Brisbane the Good Life Good Death expo has ventured to Townsville and in 2020 it will make its way to Innisfail, Queensland.

Previous expos have generated high interest, more than 600 people attended the 2018 Brisbane GLGD expo with 40 plus exhibitors and 20 speakers.

Attendees gained knowledge of what benefits are available to those who seek early conversations about health care choices and who in the community can assist them to achieve their wishes at the end of life.

Help us support our community

We are available for all Queenslanders who are living with a terminal illness, their families, their communities and their services.

We support individuals, families and communities through FREE education, conversations, information  and events. We support palliative care (including hospitals, hospices and aged care) services through SCHOLARSHIPS, networks and GRANTS.
